What is needed for this job: Nationally recognized personal training certificate (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) and strong knowledge of exercise science, techniques, nutrition, and injury prevention Ability to develop individualized and group fitness programs Lifesaving certifications (CPR & First Aid) - training provided Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills The responsibilities we will trust you with: Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and small group workouts Assess clients' fitness levels and design customized fitness programs Demonstrate exercises and provide guidance on proper technique and form Provide exceptional customer service, fostering client relationships Level II trainers should have the additional expertise in: Leading group exercise classes and small group training sessions Leading small groups of people to build community and connections through donor-funded Pathway programs Creating safe and welcoming environments in our wellness spaces during peak evening and weekend hours (15 hours minimum part-time) What you can expect: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Access to gym facilities and equipment Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger Did we mention we provide your client leads?
